The King lias approved of the granting of a bronze victory "medal, without clasp, attached to a riband with a red. centre and green and violet on each side, shaded to form the colors of two rainbows, for services in all theatres during the war period. The medal is identical with that issued by the Allied and associated Powers, so obviating an interchange of Allied commemorative war medals. They will be granted tp all ranks in the British, Dominion, Colonial, and Indian Forces, members of women's formations enrolled for service with the forces, civilian practitioners, nurses, and others working in the military hospitals who actually served in the war theatre. — Aus.-N.Z.
