[The National Development Company circularised the councils announcing that a powerful Irish-American and Scottish concern had arranged for an advance of 150 millions for an Irish housing scheme. The money will be advanced to the counvils and is repayable at 5 per cent, in fifty years, when the debt will be automatically extinguished.]
