ENTERTAINMENTS.

EVERYBODY'S. "STOLEN ORDERS" A SPLENIV ; PICTURE. It is doubtful if the people who crowded into Everybody's last evening have ever seen a picture that gave more satisfaction than the World Film superfeature, "Stolen Orders," which was the principal attraction. Regular picture goers had been prepared for something out of the ordinary by the advance announcements that this was the companion picture to "The Whip," but even that previous great picture falls short in comparison with "Stolen Orders." After seeing the picture last night one can understand the remarkable run the original play has had at the Drury Lane theatre. It is in every way a story that grips and thrills and keeps the onlooker in a state of excited anticipation right from the opening reel to the concluding scene. To attempt any description of the story would only detract from the enjoyment of the crowd that will surely be in attendance when tne picture receives its final screening tonight. MATINEE TO-DAY AT 2.30.

For the convenience of adults who cannot attend the evening sessions and to enable the children to see "Stole Orders," the management have arranged to give a special matinee performance at 2.30 this afternoon, at special reduced prices, viz., adults Is (plus tax) and children (id.

THE PEOPLE'S. MACK SENNETT AND LILA LEE. "Whose Little Wife," Mack Sennett's

very* latest jingle of mirth in two reels, provides the fun on to-night's new bill at the People's. The piece de resistance, "The Cruise of the Make Believe," is a beautiful story starring dainty Lila Lee, the new Paramount star. In this picture Lila Lee is shown as 4 big-hearted little girl, highly imaginative and sympathetic. In real life, that describes Lila Lee. She has already had eight years' experience on the speaking stage, and she has assimilated the technique of acting before the camera with astonishing quickness. It is doubtful if a better vehicle than "The Cruise of the Make Believe" could have been selected for her first picture. The latest Pictograph. and "Railroad Baiders" are also on the bill. A special matinee will commence on Thursday at 230.
