GERMAN ZEPPELINS.

REPORTED DESTROYED, INSTEAD OP BEING DELIVERED. By Telegraph—Press Assn.~~Copyr!ght. Received Sept. 1, 0.35 p.m. London, Sept. 1. No confirmation of the reported destruction of German Zeppelins has reached London, but the Daily Express' Berlin correspondent states the report is current that a naval officer, who has since disappeared) ordered the cutting of the suspensory cables, causing the airships to crash to the ground within the sheds. The German Foreign Cilice is ignorant of details, and declares it had no complicity, in the destruction, which, if it actually occurred, was possibly done by malcontents in order to embarrass the Government with the Entente.

The number of airships allegedly destroyed are variously stated at from ten to twelve.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
