The delay in concluding peace with [Austria is causing widespread dissatisfaction. Publie opinion attributes the delay to France's alleged intrigues to form a new confederation of Danube Slates, with Austria, Bohemia, Hungary, Jvgo-Slavia, and possibly Roumania, Bulgaria, and Poland as a counterpoise to German expansion.—Aub-NZ.
