PALESTINE.
RESETTLEMENT BY JEWS. PLANS BEING COMPLETED. By Telegraph—Press Ansa—Copyright. Received Aug. 30, 12.30 a.m. London, Aug. 28. Dr. WeLanami states that the plans for the resettlement of Palestine arc rapidly being completed, and that anticipation runs specially high among the Jews of Eastern Europe. Dr. Weizmann says that millions are waiting to return to their Fatherland. One of the first tasks of the new University will be to reorganise agriculture on the small holdings system. Palestine will be able to support a dense population eventually, when the deserts and the ravages of centurieß are repaired by science. The beginnings will be extremely difficult, but the climate and soil are capable of producing a variety of crops.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
