KAURI OIL WORKS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dargaville, Yesterday. The kauri oil works, everted for the Paunga (iumfields, Ltd., at a cost of £IO.OOO were completed yesterday, and the machinery given a satisfactory trial. The capacity of the plant is 4500 gallons weekly. It is anticipated that a ton of pukau will yield 7~> gallons of oil Subsequent to the engineer's inspection next week, the works will be officially opened.
