INSULATED SPACE AVAILABLE. Received Aug- '2B, 5.5 p.m. By Telegraph.—Press Amu.—Cupyclgut. c Melbourne, Aug. 28. Hon. D. S. Oman (Victorian Minister of Agriculture), informed a deputation from the Chamber of Agriculture that shipping space for 4,125,000 carcases of frozen meat would be available during the next three months. Sydney, Aug. 28. The autumn and winter lambing seasons proved largely* a failure over the greater part of the State owing to thedrought. In the autumn, (IJ million ewes were mated and dropped 4,120,000 iambs, representing 63 per cent., while the survivals for marking wore only 47 per cent. In the winter, 4,073,000 ewes were mated and dropped 2,948,000 lambs, and it is probable the markings will be 2,112,000.
