UNABLE TO VISIT NEW PLYMOUTH. His Worship the Mayor (Mr. ft" H. Burgess) has received the following tot* tor from Mr. B. M. Wilson, GoVjmttent representative:— "In further reply to your letter-of June 12 last requesting to be .tdrited waether it would be possible to to* elude New Plymouth in the -plnoes to be vHtcd by Admiral Viscount Jellicoe, I beg to inform you. that his Lorship regrets that the time at his disposal W"H not allow of a visit being made to New Plymouth, and desires that I convey to yo'i his thanks for the cordial Invitation extended." '."he Mayor (Mr. C. H. Burgess) n»« •*" ceived the following telegram from Lord Jellicoe:— "In connection with the work of my naval mission, Wing-Commander B. ,HM. Robertson, D.F.C, will visit New Plymouth on September 4."
