SOLDIERS FROM GIEBSEN On Wednesday, nbnnt ISO soldiers wlio disembarked from the transport Giessen at Wellington on Tuesday returned to tlieir homes in Taranaki by train, after spending tlie night at Wangnmii, where tliry were billeted in the various hotels When the train arrived at New Plymouth at 4.10 p.m., the .Salvation Army Hand played "Home, Sweet Home." and subsequently led in giving oheer.= for the men in khaki. Quite a large ,rowd had assembled, and among those on the platform were Mr. W. A. Colli* (DeputyMayor) and Mr. W. J. Clmney (deputychairman of the Patriotic Committee). The men in the draft who were listed to arrive at stations in Taranaki were: —
