THE FIUME COMPROMISE. ACCEPTED BY ITALY. By Telegraph—Press Asan.—Copyright. Received Aug. 28, 12.25 a.m. Paris, Aug. 27. It is semi-offlcially stated that it is understood Italy is willing to accept the Fiume compromise under which the town goes to Italy, while the League of Nations leases the free port of Fiume, together with Porto Baross, for ninetynine years; also the control of the railways.
