JAGOW'S OFFER. TO 'FRENCH EDITOR. By Telegraph.—P.-ess A39D.—Copyright. Paris, Aug. 26. The Petit Parisien created a sensation by publishing a telegram from Von Jagow, dated December 11, 1914, to High Commissioner von der Lancken at Brussels, stating his desire to win over Judet, editor of L'Eclair, and adding that Judet had consented to place his whole influence at Germany'* disposal for propaganda purposes, in consideration of payment of 2,000,000 francs. Von Jagow in his telegram asks Von der Lanckcn's opinion as to concluding the agreement with Judet—Aus. N.Z. Cable Assoc. Jf '\S QUIEN. i T Paris, Aug. 28. Quien, who was the main cause of Nurse Cavell's martyrdom, stated that he gave the Freneh (? German) military attache at The Hague information concerning powder factories. He begged to be allowed to return to France, but the attaclic kept him, declaring that he needed his services. Quien further alleged that he received money for various fissions and was able to travel without papers.—Aus. N.Z. Cable Assoc.
