DENIKIN'S ADVANCE, BOLSHEVIKS DEMORALISED, By Telegraph.—Press jlssn.—Copyright. London, Aug. 26. The Bolsheviks admit that the Allies have captured Odessa. Washington, Aug. 20. Reports from south Russia state that Denikeri's advance is progressing with great rapidity.—Aus. N.Z. Cable Assoc. Received Aug. 27, 8.40 p.m. London, Aug. 20. A War Office communique states that General Denikin's advance is continuing rapidly all along the line. Detachments of volunteers landed at Odessa after a two days' bombardment and drove the Bolsheviks in a north-westward direction. Volunteers are rapidly progressing on both banks of the Dnieper towards Kieff. It is reliably reported that the Bolsheviks throughout the Ukraine arc completely demoralised.—Aus. N.Z. Cable Association. , PLAGUE IN DON TERRITORY. London, Aug. 20. A Bolshevik wireless claims the reoccupation of Zhitomir. The plague has broken out in the Don Cossack territory. The newspaper Izvestia, published at Moscow, states that Germany, under Entente pressure, is sending a thousand Russian prisoners to General Deniken'a territory, where they cannot join the Red Army, thus opening unofficial hostiliti- against Soviet Russia.—Aus.
