She returned yesterday and reported owing to serious trouble over food supplies. A magisterial investigation is being held. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. FATAL TRAIN COLLISION. Paris, Aug. 25. An express bound for Paris was derailed near Pau after colliding with a goods train. The passengers included 33 officers and 34 men of the Royal Irish Regiment, who were returning to Cologne after a pilgrimage to Lourdes. The British contingent were not injured, and did fine rescue work. Ten passengers were killed and 20 injured, enduring terrible sufferings Under the wreckage.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. Fisher's snseestion that Mr. Henderson went behind the Government's back and attempted to negotiate with people whose sole aim was to effect the country's destruction, Mr. Henderson challenges Mr. Fisher to formulate a definite charge which can be settled ia the courts.—Aus.
