THE RESUMPTION OF WORK. SEAMEN LOSE NO TLME. Received August 25, 10.5 p.m. Sydney, Aug. 25. The seamen lost no time in carrying out their resolution to man the ships immediately on the basis of the Government's latest offer nt the round-tablo conference. The men proceeded bodily to the wharves. The shipping companies prepared the ships' crews without delay. The. Moeraki is expected to sail tomorrow, the Niagara on Thursday, and the Makura a week later.
The manager of the Union Steam Ship Company here has received information from Sydney that the seamen resume work immediately. The Moeraki leaves Sydney for Wellington to-day and the Manuka is to leave Wellington for Sydney on Wednesday.
