THE MOTUEKA SEAT. By Telegraph—Press Assn.- -Copyright. Reefton, Aug. 25. Mr. Mark Fagan was selected without opposition to contest the Motueka seat at the general election in the interests of the Labor Party. He has been general secretary and workmen's inspector for the Inangahua miners during the past ten years, is honorary secretary of the Reefton centre of the St. John ambulance Association, member of the Reefton Repatriation Committee, and was for a term chairman of the Inangahua Hospital and Charitable Aid Board. He is regarded as a moderate and practical man and as a strong candidate from the Labor point of view.
