A meeting of delegates of tho Taranakl Men's Hockey Association was held at Hawera apt week, when it was docldod not to play a third round, and the shield and cup were awarded to Kaponga. The appointment of Mr. Seeker, of Christ, church, as delegate for the Taranakt Association on the New Zealand Association was (oiiflrmed. It was decided to support Folldlng's alalia-' (lon to the New Zealand Association. Wanganui, had promised Taranaki a return match, which was decided shall be played at 1C: ponga, the Kaponga Cub to entertain the team. Should any surplus result It Is to ho handed to the Association. Messrs. Priest (Kaponga), Pennington (Eltham), and Atkln (Hawera) were chosen selectors. The date of tlo trial match Is to he left in tho hands of the selectors.
