The local health officer's 'bi-weoklv bulletin regarding influenza in Xorti Canterbury states that tliore are fourteen cases, three of pneumonia type, nine mild, one medium, and one moderate. TASMANIA ISOLATED. Melbourne, Aug. 21. A proclamation declares Tasmania infected with influenza and empowers tho Commonwealth Government to control traffic between Tasmania and the mainland.
