Mr. S. G. Smith, M.P., addressed a meeting of electors at Fgmont Village •ast night. Mr. Geo. Marsh presided, and there was an attendance of about 50, Mr. Smith was given an attentive hear•ng, and nt the conclusion was accorded u vote of thanks.
Mr. Smith visited the Warea district on Wednesday. During the day he *»» taken over the Parihaka block, a portion of which the Government is throwing open ftr returned soldiers.
