ENTERTAINMENTS.
DRAMATIC ENTERTAINMENT. The second production of the dramatic even more successful than the previous plays presented at the Good Templar Hall, which took place last night, was Jtight* The hall was packed with an audience which expressed its appreciation of the points made and the successful efforts of the actors in their interpretation of the characters assigned to them with spontaneous enthusiasm. The orchestra, also, which was differently grouped than on the first night, did very much better. All those taking part played with much more freedom, and the u'.iole entertainment went with a better lilt than on Wednesday. Where all did well special mention seems unnecessary, but the way in which Mrs. Claude Weston sustained the dual part of mother and daughter in the "Rosalind" play was ope of the most appreciable features of the entertainment, and her work last night was even more convincing than on the first occasion.
Bouquets were the order of the night, all the ladies receiving favors. A great deal of amusement was caused by the presentation to Mrs. Walker of a special bouquet from the "hall staff" in the shape of a huge cauliflower.
The house on Wednesday night was estimated to be Worth about £42, and, on that basis, last night's performance should return between £SO and £6O. All those who have any returns of cash ot unsold tickets to make are asked to hand them in to Mrs. Claude Weston as early as possible.
