Ward moved a motion of no-confidenee in the Government, which was heatedly debated, and lost on a division, after several explanations were made by the premier. The Bill was then put and carried by 9 to 4 The House went into committee and elected Mr. Aleott as clerk, and also altered the night for debates from Tucs- | day to Wednesday.
