The Archduke Joseph has given assurances that he is ready to comply with the Conference's demands. The Roumanians have not yet replied to the Entente's Note in reference to Hungary. The Czecho-Slovak Government has protested to the Supreme Council against the Roumanian occupation of Hungary. Semi-official report's from Budapest State that the situation is improving and that the Roumanian Government is taking precautions to avoid the recurrence of violence. A Berlin message states that the Archduke Joseph lias proclaimed that he ha-s no intention of reinstating the monarchy or accepting the crown. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
