THE PEOPLE'S. I "REACHING FOR THE MOON." Douglas Fairbanks is noted for his atliletic prowess, and in "Reaching for the Moon," his latest play from the Artcraft studies, and showing finally at the People's to-night, he engages in terrific combat. In staging these fights it is necessary to secure the services of men of considerable strength to oppose the strenuous Douglas, who carries a knockout punch in either hand and wrestles like a professional. The latest Pictograph, a Billy West comedy and ''The Railroad Raiders," are also on the bill. EVERYBODY'S. ■ BIG BILL HART IN "HELL'S HINGES." In "Hell's Hinges," a Triangle feature starring the favorite Western actor, William S. Hart as Blaze Tracey, a twogun desperado, Thomas H. Ince has produced the true western atmosphere. The story deals with the advent of religion to a tough town in the far beyond, and the redemption of a 'bad man' through his love for a good woman. It is also the tragedy of a weak and foolish youth attracted to a religious calling by the sense of dramatic values that surrounds it. Persuaded by a blind but devoted mother he mets a terrible end at the hands of the desperate characters in the town to which his calling has sent him. Rough and ready retribution is dealt out by the only convert, whose religion is typified by his love for the young parson's sister. Some splendid exhibitions of riding by Bill Hart are a feature, and his old horse Fritz, now enjoying a rest from film work, is a prominent actor. "Hell's Hinges" shows at Everybody's to-night and tomorrow. Another episode of "The House of Hate" also shows on the programme.
