SUPREME COURT.
A BIGAMY CHARGE FAILS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. At the Supreme Court James Jackson, charged with bigamy, was acquitted. At a previous ( sitting of the court the indictment was quashed by the ■ Chief Justice. The case was referred to the Court of Appeal, which reversed the decision of the Chief Justice and ordered a retrial.
