Mr. S, 0. Smith, M.P., addressed the electors at Koru on Friday evening. The attendfloce wgs well over 50- Mr. P. Rail! presided. Mr. Smith's address was on similar lines to his other recent speeches at townships in the district that he was unable to visit at the last contest for the Taranaki seat. The remarks made and the progressive policy to be adopted by Mr. Smith met with general approval, •V'irt the speaker was applauded throughput. At the conclusion of tl»» address Mr. Smith was voted thanks for his able address and fujl opnildenee in him aa representative of the district.
