RIFLE SHOOTING.
TAHORA DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB. A competition for Mr. O. C. firubb's frophy (pair silver vases) was competed for by the Tahora Defence Rifle Club on Saturday,- July 12. The conditions wero 10 shots at 300 and 11 at 500 .yards (slghters optional). Rlfloman R. Shewry proved the winner. The day was perfect for shooting, and good scores were registered.
