A mist, with a slight drizzling rain, hung over Hlccnrton when training work started this morning Fortunately conditions Improved lifter the first couple of gallops, and ror the rest of the morning they were all that could be desired, but the work was practically Bnished then. There was a largo number of spectators present, and work was spirited and Interesting. The outsid? of tho course proper was open for fast work, besides the sand and Inn, but all the gallops recorded were done on first named, which was In good order, Ihough naturally on the slow side. Form Up and lliero were first out, running six furlongs in 1-- 2-5, with the former, on the inside, slightly ahead at t)ie finish.

Black Mountain, who had the assistance of Grand Dueliy over the last four, ran live lurlongs In 1.10, the pair finishing 611 terms. I'retty Bobby wont over the same distance in 1.9 2-5. Wardancer took 1.30 to cover seven furlongs, and he did Ills task nicely. Heatliercote with a companion left half a jnile behind In 55 2-5 sees. Glenshlre was goiug bettor than Miramar at the end of six furlongs, run In 1,24 2-5, though they finished on terms.

Mo'orabbe, alone, sprinted half a mile up the hack In 53sec., doing It well. Sir Solo, with tlie best of the weights, but on tho outside, beat Omahu over a mile, which was run in 1.50 2-5.

Bowl Poto easily accounted for Sir Agnes ot the business end of six furlongs, vim in 1.25, and Gloaming moved very attractively ofer six furlongs, run in 1.20. *

Bon Revo did a useful working gallop over two circuits, running home tho last seven furlongs in 1.37. Afterglow left five furlongs behind nicely in 1.7 2-5, finishing very well. Sleight of Hand (Tutchen) and Reformation (Roach) gave a satisfactory, exhibition over two hurdles, both jumping very fast. They were afterwards given a couple ot rounds on the >an at a good half pace. Sam Pan covered a mile In .1.58, and .leannot easily beat Sonny by four lengths over a mile, run in 1.52.

Hands Off, with a good weight up, covered five furlongs in' 1.10 i-5.

Potentiality had almost a length the best of Elocution at the close of seven furlongs, run in 1.36, with tile latter on the outside. Bore and Mustard Pot finished On terms at tile end of seven furloußS run in 1.42. Fiilstaff and Lovelock took 1.10 2-5 to get to the end of five furlongs. liaro sprinted six furlongs doing it very Well in 1.212-5.

Post Haste showed plenty of dash wh«n leaving a half-mile behind In 55 2-ssees., with a good weight up. Caverock and Sea Blue were on terms at the conclusion of six furlongs, run in 1 24, Walraai and Signature separately did useful working gallops, both moving freely and well.

Tip Up (Hagcrty), Wild Pilgrim (McChcsner), and Aehilledes (It. Mitnson) were associated in a round of the hurdles. The trio fenced beautifully till the last obstacle, where Achllledes hit hard and came down, but Manson was only shaken.

Cynic and Munster, the latter just getting over a dose of physic, got to the end of Bis furlongs In 123 4-5, and finished on terms though Cynic had his companion's measure.

St. Curio corered a mile in 1.56 2-5, and Sisyphus, with a good weight up, coverod six furlongs in 1.22 2-5. Gamecock, with Porter up and from a fait Standing start, skipped over six furlongs very well in 1.22, doing it pleasingly. Bed Kea (llagerty), Dardanelles (McChesftey), Coalition (McSweeney), Lochella

(Roach), and Muster Lupin (A. McDonald), commanded all attention when they lined up for a round of the big fences. The quintet jumped beautifully till they reached the last obstacle, which Dardanelles struck and got rid of his rider. Red Kea lead throughout. Gazlciue (Robinson), Gold Kip (light boy). All Over <B. Morris), Parisian Diamond (W. Klrl:), and Sir Kitlph (Q. Young), were associated In a very interesting gallop over ail furlongs. The start was a fair one, but over the concluding stages the riders of Gazique and Gold Kip were having u task to lteen •their mounts level with All Over. Parlsluu Diamond, who pulled off a Bhoo, was four lengths away, and Sir Ralph six lengths further back. Time 1.20 2-5.

Coalition and Mauler Lupiu, who Is apparently quite sound after going over the country, ran nine furlongs In 2.12 2-5. Master Strownn covered two rounds of tho sand at a good working pace. Uoldslilre took 1.40 to cover seven furlongs. Gay Lad ran live furlongs In 1.8, -doing It nicely. .Metlon Just had tho better of Greek .Son at the end of five furlongs, run In 18 2-0 while Comment easily held Sweet Bmile over the same journey In 1.7 2-5.

Burodlno, under a strong pull all the way left Ave furlongs behind In 1:12. Charley' alone, ran four furlongs In 54 l-6secs. finishing well.

Kumluohe sprinted a few furlongs with n good weight up. Samlel moved pleasingly and finished six furlongs In 1.23. Stray Shot ran half a mile along the buck In 53secs., doing It well.

Art (S. Walls), Multive (R. Manson), and Pataca were given around over the hurdles. The former pair fenced well and finished luilf a do;:en lengths in front of Poraoa. Art afterwards ran a mile In 2nilus i

Kllboyne («. Young) left six furlongs behind in 1.211-55, finishing very well. Manawapango had the better of Merry Lad after traversing a mile In 1.54. Vascular and Rod Book sprinted four furlongs in 55 2-Ssecs., finishing on terras Cerebus, alone, dashed over six furlongs in 1..22 2-j. He covered a lot of ground, but did not please by the way ha ended up liia task.

Belair always had Pyjama'B measure over four furlongs, run in 52secs. The former's showing was good, as the track was well cut up by this time.
