Speakers at a meeting at Tower Hill held out Mpes of Labor support for ah extensive sympathetic strike. About forty Liverpool shops fm damaged, and jewellers', pawnbrokers', grocers', drapers', and boot shops were looted and fixtures destroyed. The streets were strewn with wreckage? Four tanks were stationed in [the streets. Three destroyers arrived to protect the docks.—-Aua.-NZ. Cable Ansu.
