Employers at Havre decided to lock j out the dockers, on the ground that they had broken a contract by demanding j higher wages. —Times Service. I RAILWAYMEN'S TROUBLES. A MASS MEETING. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Palraerston,' Last Night. A mass meeting of railway men was held here to-night. A resolution was passed and forwarded to the central executive. It is understood that it is in tho nature of an ultimatum froin all of the service insisting upon higher rates of remuneration for night work for drivers and firemen, and the removal of the cancellation of holiday passes to men on leave. The tone of the meeting was distinctly belligerent.
