i DETAILS OF SALES. BY GOVERNMENT BROKERS. The quantities of greasj wools disposed of were 139,536 bales to the British Government, 9139 bales to the United States Government, : 893 bales to 'New Zealand mills, and 28,517 bales were delivered to scourers in the Dominion, making up the above total of 178,085 bales of greasy wool. Out of 57 lots, totalling 510 bales, the valuations of which were appealed against, the appeals were upheld in the case of seven lots only. Averaged; at approximately "£23 pet (bale, the falne of (the greasy wool totals £4,095,955.
