ITALIAN OUTPOSTS, ATTACKED BY JUGO-SLAVS. By T«lairraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received July 31, 88.15 p.m. Rome, July 31. Jugo-Slavs suddenly attacked Italian outposts in the direction of Laibach. A furious fight followed, a number being killed and wounded on both sides. Reinforcemenlts repulsed the Jugo-Slava, who were commanded by Serbian officers. FOREIGN CREDITS NECESSARY. INTERNAL DISORDERS A BAR. Received July 31, 8.15 p.m. London, July 27. Rome messages state that Signor Nitti, addressing the Senate, said that Italy was unable to face the coming year without foreign credits amounting to 400 million sterling for the purchase of Taw material. Italy's credit in Britain was about to cease, and the United States' obligation ends on August 31. The latter has forbidden even private credits nntil the political situation in Italy was cleared up. Sigmor Nitti urged the cessation of revolutionary propaganda and disorders, in order to enable credits to* be re-established.—Aus. N.Z. Cable Assoc.
