The women's delegation appointed by the' Government sailed by the Ulysses to investigate possibilities in the Dominions as an outlet for women war workers. Miss Chomley accompanies the delegation, which comprises Miss Pugli Jones and Mrs. Simm, wife of a Labor member of the House of Commons. A similar delegation to New Zealand consists of Mesda'mes Gridler and Watkin. Mrs.'Gridler is now doing investigation work in Canada. ROYAL GARDEN PARTY. | London, July 25. | Ten thousand war workers, attended a garden party at the invitation of the [ Bang and Queen and provided the liveli[est spectacle in the history of Bucking- [ ham Palace. The crowd, which mingled with society people, included ex-muni-tioneers, aproned nurses, waitresses, policewomen* Salvationist girls, and municipal dignitaries. Some of the workers were provided with new toppers and tail-coats, and the women* were in the latest fashions.
