| MONSTER LINERS, TO BE BUILT BY SHIPPING BOARD. By Telegraph,—p re 3 3 Assn.—CopyriJbt. Received July 30, 7 50 p.m. New York, July 20. The United States Shipping Board announces that it Will built two of the largest ocean liners in the -world, having a speed of thirty knots, enabling them to cross the Atlantic under four days. Each of the Vessels will be 1000 feet long, 100 feet beam, 35 feet draught, and of 55,000 gross tonnage. Each will carry 3000 passengers and 1000 of a crew. The liners will burn oil, have a cruising radius of 7000 miles, and be practically unsinkable.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. j SIXTY-TWO REGULAR CARGO AND I PASSENGER LINES. Received July 30, 11.5 p.m. New York, July 24. The New York Times' Washington correspondent reports that the United States Shipping Board announces' that 729 American ■ steamers, aggregating 4,288,971 dead-ireightr tons, will shortly be placed in Sixty-two regular cargo and passenger lines to all parts of the World. A line between New York and Mel* bourne will be established with three Steamers, each of about 9000 dead-weight tons, a Speed of between 10 and 11 knots and monthly sailings.—-Aus.N.Z. Cabh Assn.
