The United States Shipping Board announces that it Will built two of the largest ocean liners in the -world, having a speed of thirty knots, enabling them to cross the Atlantic under four days. Each of the Vessels will be 1000 feet long, 100 feet beam, 35 feet draught, and of 55,000 gross tonnage. Each will carry 3000 passengers and 1000 of a crew.
