♦' .. MARSHAL EOCH'S VIEWS. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, Jnlj 10. Mr. Ward Price interviewed Marshal Pooh, who frankly assumed the possibility of another groat war. He described the development and achievement of Kitchener's Army as marvellous. "Next time it will be better,done, but England won't be ready, and we will have to wait for her." Asked what should be done, Marshal Foch raised and dropped his arms and exclaimed: "Oh, how can 1 say?" but he added "that the next wnr more than ever will be a war of machinery." It will be essential to have reserves of material and laboratories, and inventors must keep abreast of the times continually, and, if possible, ahead on the i mechanical side.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
