In the Magistrate's Court twelve spinners at the Roslyn Woollen Mills were charged with a breach of the Conciliation and Arbitration Act, in that the; became parties to a s.trike on March 91. tt was Btated for the prosecution that the strike, which lasted eight days, owing to .the non-production of yarn daring that time, resulted in a loss of £3OOO to the employers. It was stated that (larmonioug relations now prevailed. Each defendant was fined £2.
