ARRIVAL OF THE BRITON. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, July 23. There were three cases of influenza on the Briton, which arrived this morning with 1177 troops, 73 wives, a number of passengers, and details. Those affected, ,two soldiers and one civilian, are now isolated on board, and are being transferred to Somes Island to-morrow. Otherwise the health of the troops is good. The vessel is remaining in the stream for disinfection, but the .troops are disembarking by ferry steamer this afternoon and proceeding to their destinations as arranged. THE GIESSEN'S LIST.
