THE BRITON EXPECTED TO-DAY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last' Night. The Briton, with returning draft 268, is expected to reach Wellington at 8 a>ra. to-morrow, and, if a clean ship, will berth at 1 p.m. Details beyond Marton to Auckland wiH leave Thorndon Station at 4.20 p.m.; those for stations between Wellington and New Plymouth and for Napier and Gisborne leave Thorndon at 4.40 p.m.; the men from LamDton to Woodville will leave Lambton at 8 a.m. on Thursday; those for Marlborough, Nelson, and north of Westport will leave by the Mapourika at 2 p.m. to-morrow, if the transport arrives in time, and; failing connection, the Nelson and North Westlanders will depart by the Kaitoa at 5 p.m., and the Marlborough men by the Mapourika at noon on Friday. The Southern men will leave by the Maori.
