THE POLICE ATTACKED, PARAGE DONE £250,000. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received July 22, 12.5 a.m. London, July 21. The rioters at Luton set fire to the town hall, after raiding a garage and securing petrol, which they poured on the furniture. A.raid was also made on a chemist's shop. The rioters assailed the police with bottles, got out fire hoses, burned the public records and looted several shops. The military restored order, and now occupy the town hall, which was gutted.
