DROUGHT IN CANADA.
CATTLE STARVING IN ALBERTA. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. » _ Ottawa, July 11. The Canadian Council of Agriculture has received reports indicating that half a million cattle in southern Alberta are on the verge of starvation owing to the continued drought, which has destroyed all pasturage. It is proposed to transport the ca.ttle to northern Manitoba, where feed is plentiful owing to adequate rains,—Aus.-KZ. Cable Assn.
