ALLEGED USE OF INDECENT LANGUAGE. Auckland, July 3- , An unusual case was commenced in the Police Court to-day, when ah allegation was made against a police constable that '■he used indecent language in a public place during the arrest of a drunken i man. The prosecution was a private one, brought by a member of the Waterside Workers' Union. Many witnesses were called, and before adjourning the case for the day the magistrate said lie was extremely dissatisfied with the conduct of the prosecution, and there were reasons why tlie hearing of evidenee should not be delayed. Tke-caae >was adjourned till to-morrow.
