A Berlin telegram states that the Ukrainian Hetman Grigoriefl reports that he captured Odessa after a sanguinary battle, the Bolsheviks fleeing in dis-order.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. GERMANS IN BALTIC. ALMOST ANNIHILATED. Received July 4, 11,10 p.m. Copenhagen, June 3D. The Lettish Press Bureau states that the German Baltic Landwehr were three times defeated by the Esthonia and Lettish troops last week, and practically destroyed. The Lettish troops reached Jaegel, nine miles from Riga. The Germans are evacuating Riga, whore the Needra Ministry was dissolved ( and the War Minister arrested. Needra fled to Libau, where he was arrested, but escaped and is now refuging with the Imperial German troops encamped six miles from Libau.—Renter.
