PEDIGREE FRIESIANSThe late Richard Morrow was in recent years a very prominent breeder amongst the Friesians, and it will be, no doubt, of great interest to present-day fanciers of this breed to peruse the catalogue now on issue by Mr. Newton King giving full particulars of the dispersal sale of the stud stock in this es.tate. The number of cattle to be sold totals 42, and amongst this lot are some wellknown champions. In the male section the 5-year-old bull "King of the Black and Whites" is the "daddy of the lot," and this magnificent sire is the only animal that will be offered at the sale subject to a reserve. The balance of the catalogue are to be sold absolutely without reserve. In the female section the cows show great breeding, including such liigh-class and well-known animals as "Dorothea," "Woodland Queen," "Nazle's Maid," "Royal Rose," and "Lady Jewel Nazle," l all foundation cows of the herd secured by Mr Morrow at the first annual sale held by Mr. Newton King in 1912. In fact, the balahce of the herd are practically descended from this line.
The young cattle are good, and all Friesian dairymen and breeders are invited to apply early for a copy of the catalogue.
