A HORRIBLE ACCIDENT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Eltham, July 3. A horribla accident occurred at Wilkinson's bone mill at midday, when William Stannera, an old and respected resident, was caught in the machinery and horribly mangled, death being instantaneous. ORDNANCE OFFICER'S DEATH. , Auckland, Last Ni^'nt. Captain A. Duval, of the New Zealand Army Ordnance Department, was found dead in ,the laboratory room at thle works, death being caused by a bullet wound. He was the proof officer for the Department at Auckland, it being his duty to test ammunition. He was 60 years of age, and leaves a wife, but no children-
