THE WOOL SALES. Received July 3, 5.5 p.m. London, July 2. At ,tlie wool sales there was keener competition for merinos. Prices were 'slightly harder, medium and crossbreds selling irregularly. Other qualities unchanged. THE TALLQW MARKET. The Now Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London house under date June 25, 191!): —Tallow: Fine mutton £5 3s per cwt., good beef £4 10s per cwt., mixed £4 Cs per cwt-; less active. AUSTRALIAN MARKETS. Received July 3, 11.30 p.m. Sydney, July 3Oats—Algerian feeding 4s Art to 5a 3d, milling 5s (Id, Tasmanian as Oil to Bs. Barley—Cape as 2d to as Id. Maize—7s to 7s Oil. Potatoes—Tasmanian £ls to £l6, New Zealand £ 14. Onions— £2O. Adelaide oats—4s Gd to 4s 7d.
