WEATHER REPORT.
FOR JUNE, IBIS. The general weather conditions of the month Were those or rain, strong winds and cold. Fresh to storm wind with rain was frequent. The maximum and minimum temperatures fell from 60-41 degrees oh the 24th, to 44-34 degrees respectively on the 25th; due to the exceptionally cold Storm South-east wind, which lasted for four days. A remarkable range of both typical and varying storm clouds were noted throughout the month. Thunder occurred on the 2Stb, 29th and 30th. Snow fell on Mount Egmont on 14 days. Cloudiness ranged from 1 on the 2nd td 10 on the 4th, 14th and 17th. Very heavy seas wer/j noted on nine days. Following are the records for the month: Maximum temperature; 65 degrees an the 18th; 44 degrees on the 25th. Minimum temperature: 62 degrees on the 3rd; 35 degrees on the 25th. Maximum wet-bulb: 47 degrees on the 12thj 41 degrees on the 25th and 27th. Minimum wet-bulb: 45 degrees on the 12th; 30 degrees on the 25th. Terrestrial radiator: 44 degrees on the 16th; 134 degrees on the 26th. Solar radiator (sun's heat): 128 degrees on the 3rd; 116 degrees on the 26th. ' : .. Sunshine recorded: 9 hours 3 minutes on the end; 1 hour 3 minutes on the 26th; total, 1 168 hours 41 minutes. The 4th, 14th and 17th I were sunless days, Rain fell on 22 days, 148 points (100 to | the inch) on 24th; 2 poults on the Bth; total, 8.021 Inches. , Wind: South 11; south-east 4; south-west !14; west 1 day. ■„
