TRAMWAY WORKERS.
i'KOPOSED DOMINION UNION. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. At the annual conference of the- New Zealand Federated Association of Tram-, way Workers it was agreed to urge upon the Government a channel by which a Dominion Union in one industry could be established. It was further resolved that, as a complete organisation of tramwayraen had been accomplished since last congress, the time had arrived when a national agreement should govern all tramway work in the Dominion, and that steps be taken to obtain such agreement. It was agreed to alter the constitution in the direction of making Wellington the headquarters of the association. Mr. C. Hobbs (Wellington) was apointed president, and Mr. J. Hutchison (Wellington/ secretary, a»d treasurer.
