MEETING OF GENERAL COM ' MITTEE. A meeting of the General Committee of the Taranak.i A. and P. Society was held on Saturday. There were present Messrs W. B. Grant (in the chair), A. E, Washer, W. Hall, B. Honeyfleld, C. W. Ruebe, S. Vickers, C. Dobsou and A. T. Moore. Messrs A. J. Richards, W. Burrows and Turner were elected members of the Society. It was decided that 111 future.all ex-. hibits in the garden vegetables and farm produce classes must be bona fide grown by the exhibitor; and also that iu. the photography section the exhibits, must be the work of the exhibition. Some comment was made on ..tjife.. allocation of space for exhibits at the winter show, the opinion being expressed, that there was room for %iprqvejjn£nt,! particularly in regard to the positions given to side-shows.
