WHENUAKURA CASE.
THE JUDGE'S DECISION. By Teletrarh.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Wellington, Last Night. In the Supreme Court the Chief Justice gave judgment in respect to the distribution of the estate of the late Patrick Bourke. of Whenuakura, heard on June 20. His Honor was of opinion that the Public Trustee, having made his valuation under the will, had no power to change his decision. The will was declared, and decision once given should be final and conclusive upon all the Rons. The whole contest arose as to valuation. If the valuation were correct, then the adjustment was correct. Therefore the sole question to be determined was whether the valuation was. made, and whether) being made, 'the estate could be distributed. In his Honor's opinion the valuation had been made, and all that had to foe d"ne was to distribute the estate. Once the persons who had to pay the money on account of having got moTe value in the land than the others, had arranged to do so, the Public Trustee must be ordered to proceed with the distribution in accordance with his own account.
