SENIOR COMPETITION. OKAIAWA DEFEATS OPDNAKE. At Opunake, on Saturday, the Okalawa seniors defeated Opunake by 3 points to nil. WAIMATE AND KAPONGA TIE, At Kaponga on Saturday the senior game between Waimato and Eaponga ended in a draw, 11 points being scored by each team. JUNIOR COMPETITION. STAR y. STAR V. TUKAPA. The team to represent Star Second Juniors against Tukapa will be selected from the following: Rolands, Hedley, Puke, G. Haskell, Hoskln, Hoffmann (2), Amor, Pellew, Hopkins, Scrimgeour, Roberts, Bishop, James, Kibby, Harris, Curllne. The match takes place tomorrow at Western Park, at 3 p.m.

The Eltliam Second Juniors to play against Stratford, at Stratford, on Thursday, are as follows: Rogers, Foster, Peebles, Pitts, J. Ati trill. Creed, Des Forges, ConpeU, Clarry, McGuinness, McGulre, Cave, Laurent, Free and Dick.
SENIOR MATCHES POSTPONED. Owing to the trial match at Stratford on Saturday the senior matches in the Saturday competition set down for decision this week will be postponed.
A TRIAL MATCH. A trial match Is advertised to be played on the Stratford show grounds on Saturday afternoon, in order to assist the selectors In choosing a. team to meet Wellington on Wednesday at Hawera. As the union requires funds in order to permit of the representative team fulfilling outside engagements it Is hoped that there will be a .large attendance.- The following players have been chosen to represent the Central team: Forwards, Carlson (Eltham), Masters (Stratford), A. Smith (Toko), Carlson (Iltham), Bottin (Eltham), McCullough (Stratford), Vickers (Mldhlrst), Fryday (Stratford). Backs: R. Coutts (Stratford), N.
