STRANDED NEW ZEALANDERS.
STATEMENT BY SIR JAMES. ALLEN. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Laßt Night. Sir James Allen says there are grave difficulties about utilising overseas refrigerating steamers to bring back the New Zealandera stranded at Sydney. These steamers are being |ent to New Zealand to take away produce which could not be held up, ajnd, if quarantined on arrival/ they would be delayed an indefinite time. The Government is trying to make another arrangement.
